Prior to creating craft aeroplane, *caregiver is to pre-cut a few slits into the cardboard tube for inserting the aeroplane’s tail and wings (ice-cream sticks) into.
Let your child paint the tube/roll and allow to dry
Once dried, let your child press ice-cream stick through slits to serve as the tail and wings,
Paste round stickers along the sides for the windows.

Exploring spatial relations
What do you need?
A table
A book and a toy
What to do:
Demonstrate the following concepts to your child: top; under; back of; front of; and next to, by first placing your hand and his/her hands in these positions in relation to the table.
Proceed to tell your: My hand is… (On top of/under/ at the back of/ in front of/ and next to the…) table; then: Your hand (you may use child’s name) hand is… (On top of/under the….)
Now ask your child to place the book on top of the table then under, continue till all spatial relations are explored.
Do the same with a toy. Assist your child where necessary.
Praise your child’s correct responses.
**Spatial awareness is the ability of a child to understand where they are in relation to objects or where objects or structures are in relation to each other.It’s an exceptionally important cognitive skill for children and must be learnt early in their lives**
